Photovoltaic Power Plants and Battery Energy Storage Systems

The main goal of the course is to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of photovoltaic power plants and battery systems, their technical and economic characteristics, as well as their role in the energy transition. The course provides insight into the application of decentralised solar systems, the modularity and scalability of photovoltaic power plants, and practical exploitation models and the long-term sustainability of battery systems. Participants will learn how solar energy and electrical energy storage contribute to energy security, flexibility and emissions reduction in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
