The mission of this sector is to support the transition to a competitive low-carbon economy and the formation of a society adapted to climate change.
Air quality protection is one of the areas in which CETEOR has the longest experience. Within this area, studies are conducted, calculations of air pollutant emissions are prepared, air quality modelling for urban areas and industrial plants is carried out, and plans and programmes for air protection and pollution prevention are developed. Spatial distribution of emissions in a high-resolution grid is prepared for the areas of cities and cantons, zones and agglomerations.
