We're excited to share highlights from our General Coordination Meeting held in Athens, Greece, on June 6-7, 2024. Hosted at the Athens University of Economics and Business, this gathering brought together partners from Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Germany, Cyprus, Lithuania, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Our focus remains on the strategic development of up-skilling and re-skilling the construction ecosystem with certified transitional skills and competences through a network of VET providers across Europe.
Key achievements and discussions included:
– Methodology for Upskilling and Reskilling: Presented by Dr. Ebun Akinsetee and Voula Samara from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
– Digital Platform: Introduced by Eleni Toli and Panagiota Koltsida to support our educational methodology.
– Work Package Updates: Leaders shared progress and engaged in fruitful discussions on methodology and certification processes.
– Special Address: Prof. Phoebe Koundouri discussed AE4RIA – Alliance of Excellence for Research and Innovation on Αephoria‘s work and highlighted the report “Twin Skills for the Twin Transition” launched during COP28.
This meeting underscored project partners’ commitment and the project's value for the industry. Beyond productive sessions, attendees enjoyed networking, fostering a collaborative spirit.
